SVI eSolutions Inc. (“SVI” or “we”), operating in the field of remote learning and learning management, places particular importance on respecting your privacy and protecting your Personal Information (as defined below). This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes our data protection practices, the types of Personal Information we may collect, and how we use, disclose, retain, and secure them (collectively “process,” “processing,” and “processes”).

To provide you with quality services, we need access to certain Personal Information about you. This Policy applies to our websites, sviesolutions.com and lara-lms.com (our “Sites”), as well as our platforms and mobile applications, Lära LMS, Via eLearning, Via HTML, and Via Mobile (our “Applications”; collectively with the Sites, our “Services”).

Use of Google Analytics

SVI uses Google Analytics, which is provided by Google Inc. (“Google”), to analyze the browsing behaviors of visitors to its Sites. It is a tool for analyzing website traffic and usage.

Targeted Advertising

SVI also collaborates with third-party advertising companies, such as Facebook or Google Ads, which collect and use information about your use of our Services to present you with advertisements that may interest you. SVI does not disclose any information that allows advertising companies to identify you.

We want to inform you that our advertising partners and other third parties may also set cookies or web beacons when you click on their advertisements or links to their websites or services within our Services. This Policy does not apply to third-party websites or the advertising providers of these third parties.

You can disable Google Analytics while browsing by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser or computer tool, as well as ad settings. You can refuse to share your Personal Information with these third parties by installing an add-on and thus refuse to receive interest-based targeted ads.

SVI also uses Facebook’s custom audience feature to target advertising related to the interests of its current and potential clients. We invite you to check Facebook’s privacy settings to manage ad settings. You can obtain more information here.

Please note that even if you choose not to receive interest-based targeted ads, you may still see SVI advertisements. In this case, they will simply not be tailored to your real needs and may be displayed more frequently.

Social Media Features

The Services include social media features like the YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or Pinterest sharing buttons or interactive mini-programs that run on our Services. If you use these features, they collect your IP address, the page you visit on our Sites, and create a cookie to enable these features to function properly. These features may be hosted by a third party or directly on our Services. Your interaction with these features is governed by the privacy policy of the company providing the feature and not by this Policy.

DISCLOSURE AND SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

In the course of our activities, we sometimes need to disclose and share your Personal Information with various stakeholders. We will only disclose or share your Personal Information in the manner described below :

RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal Information will be retained as long as necessary to achieve the identified purposes or to comply with legal retention requirements. Thus, the retention period for your Personal Information will vary depending on the purpose of its use. We must destroy or anonymize this information in accordance with the law. YOUR RIGHTS

Access to your Personal Information, information, and rectification
